this resource is a community group. We run free or low-cost baseball clinics for kids who don’t have easy access to fields, gear, or coaches.
It started in 2019 in the Bay Area. Now we’re in the Central Valley too. No franchise fees.
No tryouts. Just gloves, bases, and adults who show up.
We’re not affiliated with MLB. We don’t sell jerseys or draft prospects. (And honestly?

In 2023 alone, we hosted 42 youth clinics. Reaching over 1,800 kids. Some had never held a bat before.
Others just needed a safe place to show up twice a week.

How to Actually Stay Updated (Not Just Hope)
I check Sffarebaseball updates daily. Not because I’m obsessed. Though, fair (but) because their schedule shifts fast.
Their official channels are Instagram (@sffarebaseball), the email newsletter, and the Parks & Rec calendar. That’s it. Everything else is noise.
Unofficial fan pages? Third-party resellers? Run.
Red flags: prices over $25, no physical address listed, or a domain that looks like “sffarebaseball-tickets-official.net” (it’s not). Scammers copy fonts and colors better than most designers copy layouts.

Turn on notifications. Done. No app needed.

Planning Your Visit: Tickets, Transit, and Real Talk
Most events are free. I mean actually free. No hidden fees, no “suggested donation” guilt trips.
Some clinics cost $5. $10. But they’re fully subsidized if you ask. Just email the contact listed on the event page.
No essay required. No proof of hardship. Just ask.
BART and Caltrain both stop at 24th Street Mission. That’s your best bet. Bus lines 14, 48, and 65 drop you within two blocks.
Bike valet? Yes. It’s free and staffed.
Ride-share? Use the north lot entrance. Signs are clear, not confusing like that one time at Oracle Park.
Bring gloves. Water. Sunscreen.
That’s it.
Don’t bring glass. Don’t bring drones. And don’t bring your dog unless it’s registered with the league (and even then, check the field rules first).
Strollers work fine on outdoor fields. Paths are flat and wide. Shaded rest zones are near Gate C.
Quiet areas? Look for the blue tent near the east bleachers. Staff there know what they’re doing.
Rain cancels things. They post by 5 p.m. the day before. No guesswork.
Makeup games happen same time, next available dry day.
